Description

Rock Steady Boxing York Region is a unique program, based on the Rock Steady Method. This form of workout is based on training used by boxing pros and adapted to people with Parkinson’s. The program involves regular exercise, working with weights, stretching, jogging, balancing, vocal strengthening and lots of non-contact boxing. The boxing and conditioning drills will help reduce the symptoms of Parkinson’s, which in turn will help to improve quality of life. It is all about working hard and having fun and making friends along the way.

A consultation and assessment with a Rock Steady Boxing Certified Instructor is necessary before registering for the program.

Area of Expertise

I have been teaching and working with those dealing with Parkinson’s since 2017.

I received my Rock Steady Boxing Certification at there head office in Indianapolis, IN, USA in 2017.

At one time I was on the Vaughan SuperWalk Committee.

I am also a certified Yoga Instructor and certified Chi Gong Instructor.
