Care FinderThe Alexander Technique Centre The Alexander Technique Centre Categories Exercise Description We teach skills to increase awareness in daily movements. We use simple movements (getting in and out of a chair, walking, etc) to learn to think, plan a movement and execute it. We draw attention to developing efficiency in thinking and movement. We also work with breath and voice and enhancing the ability to be expressive vocally. We work with people living with Parkinson’s and with care partners, finding shared language and ways to support cognitive and motor benefits.
