Care FinderComforcare Comforcare Categories Nurse Description ComForCare offers nurse-led home support services that help clients remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Our services include personal support worker (PSW) care and assistance with exercise, homemaking, and meal planning. We also provide respite support, giving family caregivers temporary relief or coverage while they are away. Area of Expertise The ComForCare Parkinson Pathways Care Program is an eight-module, in-home clinical care framework created to improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease and to support their family caregivers. All of our staff complete this training, which provides in-depth education about the disease. Caregivers learn to recognize subtle changes in symptoms and to apply appropriate strategies from the early through the late stages of Parkinson’s. The program is built on four pillars of care: medication management, movement and exercise, nutrition and support, and emotional and behavioural support.
