Dr. Nathaniel Bendahan is a neurologist specializing in movement disorders. He aims to offer complete and compassionate care for people living with Parkinson’s disease and related conditions – from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up. He provides in-person assessments or virtual care for follow-up depending on the patients’ preferences.

Area of Expertise

Dr. Nathaniel Bendahan completed his Neurology residency at Queen’s University, where he honed his skills in managing Parkinson’s Disease. Following this, he pursued a 2-year fellowship in movement disorders with the University of Toronto at the Toronto Western Hospital, providing care for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other related conditions. This fellowship deepened his understanding of the complexities of Parkinson’s management, including advanced treatment approaches (DBS and duodopa pump) and patient-centered care strategies.

He served as a sub-investigator in a clinical trial for a disease-modifying treatment for Parkinson’s disease and worked on several research projects, mainly related to medical imaging (MRI). Before his medical studies, he organized fundraising events to raise funds for Parkinson’s Society Canada.
