Fox’s latest film work, Still, features documentary, archival and scripted elements, telling Fox’s story from his humble beginnings in Canada to a meteoric rise to stardom in Hollywood. It details his public life and provides a never-before-seen account of his private life and struggles. What Still is truly about is Fox’s diagnosis with Parkinson’s at such a young age and how it impacted him in the following years. The documentary does this through candid on-camera interviews with Fox along with narration read by the actor. What happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease?
