BlogRudy’s Golf Tournament raises over $315,000 Rudy's Golf Tournament raises over $315,000 Posted Date : Aug 1, 2024 On Monday, July 22, 2024, the Royal Montreal Golf Club played host to an incredible gathering of golf enthusiasts and supporters at Rudy’s second annual golf tournament. This remarkable event, inspired and hosted by Rudy Erfle, aimed to raise funds for Parkinson Canada, continuing Rudy’s passionate efforts that began over 15 years ago following his Parkinson’s diagnosis. The day kicked off with registration at 11:00 am, followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Golfers enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition, stunning views, and a shared commitment to a worthy cause. Following a round of golf, attendees were treated to a delightful Cocktail Dînatoire. The afternoon featured an open bar, delectable food stations, and live music, creating an atmosphere of celebration and fun. There were also raffles and prizes handed out to top off the excitement. Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, this year’s tournament raised an impressive $315,000, adding to the remarkable $530,000 already raised through Rudy’s fundraising initiatives, including last year’s inaugural tournament and Rudy’s Run. The funds raised will have a real impact for Parkinson Canada, providing essential resources, support, and research funding for those living with Parkinson’s. If you were unable to join us this year, you can still contribute. Please consider donating to support our ongoing fundraising efforts. Also, be sure to watch out for the third annual tournament coming next year! Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported Rudy’s Golf Tournament.
