Registration for Parkinson Canada’s SuperWalk and Pedaling for Parkinson’s – two annual event programs that raise funds for Parkinson Canada – is now open to the public for 2022.

SuperWalk

The SuperWalk is the largest annual national fundraiser for Parkinson Canada. Together, we have an immeasurable impact on the research being done, the services being offered, and the people being helped every day. Since 1990, Canadians from across the country have come together to support each other by taking part in the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk. They have raised funds and done an incredible job of spreading the word and advocating for those within the Parkinson community.

To date, the SuperWalk has raised over $40 million to fuel research, support tools, and advocacy.

Pedaling for Parkinson’s

Founded by Canadians for Canadians, Pedaling for Parkinson’s invites cyclists to ride towards progress by funding research and raising awareness for Parkinson Canada. Since its inception in 2011, Pedaling for Parkinson’s has funded 20 research projects through more than $1.9 million in contributions to Parkinson Canada. For 2022, in-person rides will take place in Waupoos, ON, Summerside, PE and Orangeville, ON with a “DIY” Ride Your Way option for anyone, anywhere to ride and fundraise for Parkinson Canada.

The Pedaling for Parkinson’s community donations fuel the Parkinson Canada National Research Program, which has invested more than $31 million in funding since 1981.
