The Parkinson Canada Research Program supports promising researchers as they discover new ways to understand and diagnose Parkinson’s disease, new treatments, and ways to improve quality of life for people impacted by Parkinson’s. The 2023-2025 competition offers funding in the following areas: Pilot Project Grants – to fund novel, high-potential projects Graduate Student Awards– to fund promising trainees pursuing a PhD in Parkinson’s research Basic Research Fellowships– to fund promising post-doctoral fellows doing innovative Parkinson’s research Parkinson Canada is also proud to be the only Canadian organization that offers critical funding to neurologists training to become Movement Disorder Specialists with our Clinical Research Fellowships & Clinical Movement Disorder Fellowships.
