Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic is affiliated with the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University. The clinic is also a teaching clinic for student clinicians enrolled at Western University. Services may be delivered solely by the clinicians (speech-language pathologist or audiologist) or with involvement from supervised student clinicians. The clinic is fee-for-service. For individuals demonstrating financial hardship, they may be eligible for a reduction in fees through our Fee Adjustment Program. An application must be submitted with financial documentation. Please contact us for details. Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services include assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders, including the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) LOUD program. Audiology services include hearing assessments, fitting and dispensing of hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and tinnitus assessment and management. You do not need a referral to come to our clinic. We accept self-referrals, as well as referrals from health care professionals. Area of Expertise Our clinicians have had experience with individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, with an average experience of 5-10 years. Experience includes assessment and intervention in communication and swallowing disorders and hearing assessment and management (fitting and dispensing of hearing aids and assistive listening devices).
