Parkinson's Awareness Month

Parkinson’s is currently the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world1,2,3, yet it is too often misunderstood. By increasing awareness, we can challenge perceptions, advocate for better care, and support groundbreaking research. Together, we can create a future where those living with Parkinson’s and their care partners have the tools, support, and hope they need to thrive.

This is a moment to pause, reflect and shine a spotlight on the realities of living with Parkinson’s. It’s an important day to be seen and heard.

For more than 120,000 Canadians living with Parkinson’s, the challenges don’t pause on April 11. Awareness can’t be confined to a single date on the calendar. April 11 is a powerful catalyst, but meaningful change happens when we continue the conversation, push for better access to care, and work together to remove barriers every day.
