Studies seeking participants Wearable system for real-time prediction and prevention of freezing of gait episodes in Parkinson’s disease

The University of Ottawa and University of Waterloo are currently developing a wearable system to predict and prevent freezing of gait for people with Parkinson’s Disease. We are looking for people to participate in our evaluation of the wearable system in preventing and stopping freezes. The goal of the study is to improve our understanding of freezing of gait for developing therapeutic walking aids.
