Clinical TrialScreening eyes of people in Saskatchewan with non-invasive imaging technologies and artificial intelligence for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases Screening eyes of people in Saskatchewan with non-invasive imaging technologies and artificial intelligence for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases Our project focuses on early detection of Alzheimer’s disease using non-invasive retinal imaging techniques (OCT and OCT-angiography), combined with machine learning analysis. By analyzing retinal structural changes, we aim to identify early biomarkers of Alzheimer’s before clinical symptoms appear. The study involves recruiting approximately 100 individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and 100 healthy controls and includes both prospective data collection and retrospective analysis of existing imaging data.
