Parkinsense: Can a smart-band help with Parkinson's

We are recruiting participants with Parkinson’s who exhibit motor symptoms (such as tremors and bradkynesia) to participate in a research study to test a wearable device for remote patient monitoring. Participants will be asked to wear a wristwatch that tracks movements for motor symptoms and fill out (or have their caregiver fill out) medications and non-motor symptoms on a mobile app. Preceding this period, participants will be asked to complete an introductory survey and also have a 30-minute introductory call with a researcher. After the study is completed, participants will fill out an exit survey and have another 30-minute call with a researcher to briefly describe their overall experience and provide any additional feedback.
