Description

Hope & Healing Integrative Mental Health Group provides virtual psychotherapy and counselling for individuals, couples, families, and caregivers. We support people navigating the emotional impact of chronic illness, neurological conditions, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, caregiver stress, relationship changes, and life transitions. Our trauma-informed, attachment-based, and nervous system-informed approach recognizes the significant emotional and relational challenges that can accompany a Parkinson’s diagnosis. We provide timely access to care, including immediate availability with evening and weekend appointments, and each client is personally matched with the therapist best suited to their needs.

Area of Expertise

Our therapists have experience supporting individuals and families coping with chronic and progressive health conditions, including the emotional and psychological effects of diagnosis, changes in functioning, grief, caregiver burden, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. We recognize that Parkinson’s disease affects not only the individual but also their loved ones. While we do not provide medical treatment for Parkinson’s disease, we offer psychotherapy to help individuals and caregivers build coping strategies, process adjustment and loss, strengthen relationships, and improve emotional well-being as part of a collaborative circle of care.
