On Tuesday, May 31st, Dr. Robert Nussbaum spoke about The contribution of Human Genetics to our Understanding of Parkinson Disease. Dr. Nussbaum directed the original research that led to the discovery of mutations in alpha-synuclein in hereditary Parkinson disease in the mid-1990s and has been studying its role in Parkinson’s disease ever since.
