Marlin is the CEO of Shercom Industries Inc. and a chartered accountant (CPA). He has expertise in developing teams, negotiating, and developing corporate strategies.

Marlin has a wide variety of board experience having sat on various private and public sector boards. He is also the Chair of the Board of Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership.

Marlin applied his creative and strategic planning skills as chair of the steering committee during the Parkinson Canada Council Federation Review and as past Chair of the board of directors of Parkinson Canada. He currently serves as Chair of the Finance, Investment, and Audit Committee for Parkinson Canada. He lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
