“My late father had Parkinson’s; I want to continue to do everything I can. Along with my dedicated and talented board colleagues, it is an honour to help shape the vision for this organization to be the voice of Canadians living with Parkinson’s.”

Marc is the City of Winnipeg’s Manager of Real Estate and Land Development. In his position, Marc oversees the negotiation and administration of agreements with private and public sector agencies and the delivery of a variety of services related to the economic development, growth and redevelopment of the city, while promoting and maintaining positive relationships with the public, business community and all three levels of government.

Marc’s extensive experience and passion for public service has made him a principal and trusted advisor to senior leaders in both the bureaucratic and political realms as he leads policy development, strategic innovative initiatives and the implementation of best practices.

Marc’s volunteer work with Parkinson Canada is very personal and began shortly after his father Henri’s diagnosis in 2000. Marc has been a member of the Regional Advisory Board of Parkinson Canada (Manitoba Region) for 13 years and served as Chair for 10 years.

Between participating in SuperWalk and serving as Chairperson of the Parkinson’s Golf Classic, Marc has raised approximately $500,000 for Parkinson Canada and was recognized for his efforts when he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
