Julie Cafley is Senior Vice-President, Policy and Partnerships at the Public Policy Forum. Julie leads the Forum’s research portfolio as well as external relations for the organization. She previously held the position of Chief of Staff at the University of Ottawa.

In 2012, she was chosen as one of the delegates for the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, and in 2010, she was honoured as one of the Ottawa Business Journal’s top 40 under forty.

Julie holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Ottawa. She also holds a MEd, BEd and BA.

Julie and her husband Luc have two children, Zacharie and Théo and live in Chelsea, Québec. Luc was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease in 2001 at the age of 37.
