As the Vice President of Research and Advocacy, she champions innovation across care, policy, and science.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angelica brings a unique blend of scientific&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;and community focus to her role. She has shaped national research strategies, bridged the gap between lab and lived experience, and helped advance new health policies during her time at the MS Society of Canada and in public health.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since joining Parkinson Canada, Angelica has worked to reshape the organization\u2019s research program and strengthen its place in the global Parkinson\u2019s community. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from McMaster University.&nbsp;Since joining Parkinson Canada, Angelica has focused on positioning the organization as a key player and collaborator in the national and international Parkinson\u2019s ecosystem and continues to evaluate and reshape the research program to ensure it supports a robust,&nbsp;innovative&nbsp;and collaborative pipeline of researchers and clinicians across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-responsive-xsmall\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-responsive-xsmall\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Angelica Asis fait preuve de curiosit\u00e9, de compassion et d&rsquo;un engagement audacieux pour r\u00e9inventer ce qui est possible pour les personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson. En tant que vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la recherche et de la d\u00e9fense des droits, elle encourage l&rsquo;innovation dans les domaines des soins, des politiques et des sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angelica apporte \u00e0 son r\u00f4le un m\u00e9lange unique d&rsquo;expertise scientifique et d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la communaut\u00e9. Elle a fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 des strat\u00e9gies de recherche nationales, combl\u00e9 le foss\u00e9 entre le laboratoire et l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience v\u00e9cue, et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 faire progresser de nouvelles politiques de sant\u00e9 pendant son passage \u00e0 la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de la scl\u00e9rose en plaques et dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis qu&rsquo;elle a rejoint Parkinson Canada, Angelica s&rsquo;est efforc\u00e9e de remodeler le programme de recherche de l&rsquo;organisation et de renforcer sa place dans la communaut\u00e9 mondiale de la maladie de Parkinson. Elle est titulaire d&rsquo;un baccalaur\u00e9at et d&rsquo;une ma\u00eetrise en sciences de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 McMaster. Depuis qu&rsquo;elle a rejoint Parkinson Canada, Angelica s&rsquo;est attach\u00e9e \u00e0 positionner l&rsquo;organisation comme un acteur et un collaborateur cl\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me national et international de la maladie de Parkinson.
