Karen Lee leads Parkinson Canada with unwavering passion and a bold vision for a better future for people impacted by Parkinson\u2019s. With a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and a deep passion for science, she brings both heart and strategy to her role as President & CEO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karen is guiding transformative change across the organization\u2014amplifying the voice of the community, fueling innovative research, and ensuring everyone in Canadaimpacted by Parkinson\u2019s has the support they need to live well. She previously held senior leadership roles at the MS Society of Canada, where she championed research and community engagement for over a decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karen\u2019s impact has been recognized with the University of Ottawa\u2019s Alumni Award of Distinction. A proud member of YPO and a committed volunteer in the health nonprofit space, she believes in challenging limits, embracing change, and leading with purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karen guide le changement transformateur au sein de l’organisation, en amplifiant la voix de la communaut\u00e9, en encourageant la recherche innovante et en veillant \u00e0 ce que toutes les personnes touch\u00e9es par la maladie de Parkinson au Canada b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient du soutien dont elles ont besoin pour bien vivre. Elle a pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment occup\u00e9 des postes de direction au sein de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de la scl\u00e9rose en plaques, o\u00f9 elle a d\u00e9fendu la recherche et l’engagement communautaire pendant plus d’une d\u00e9cennie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’influence de Karen a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue par l’Universit\u00e9 d’Ottawa, qui lui a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le Prix d’excellence des anciens \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Fi\u00e8re membre du YPO et b\u00e9n\u00e9vole engag\u00e9e dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 but non lucratif, elle croit qu’il faut repousser les limites, embrasser le changement et diriger avec d\u00e9termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
