Laura Edgar is President of Laura Edgar Governance Consulting, where she works with non-profit and charitable boards of directors to build their governance knowledge and capacity through governance assessments, board training and facilitation, and strategy development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Laura was the Vice President of Board Governance at the Institute on Governance. For more than 20 years she provided advisory services related to roles, responsibilities and functioning of boards of directors, strategic planning, member engagement, and governance assessments. She also provided tailored learning programs. She has a strong professional and academic background in the governance of public purpose organizations, business management, and adult education.\u00a0Laura has completed an M.A. in Economics at the University of Guelph, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant plus de 20 ans, elle a fourni des services consultatifs concernant les r\u00f4les, les responsabilit\u00e9s et le fonctionnement des conseils d’administration, la planification strat\u00e9gique, l’engagement des membres et les \u00e9valuations de la gouvernance. Elle a \u00e9galement propos\u00e9 des programmes d’apprentissage sur mesure.
