His talent for fostering collaboration is an invaluable asset to the PAC as it adds an additional layer of expertise to an already-robust roster of individuals.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years Chuck has volunteered his communications and media preparedness training to a diverse cross-section of organizations. He is able to do so thanks to his time in radio, as a business school lecturer, as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs for the Atlantic Lottery Corporate and as the Vice President of Partnerships at the Discovery Centre in Nova Scotia. He is accustomed to contributing to community engagement plans and strives to improve organizational protocols and practices to make the most of supporters\u2019 time and donations.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s in 2014 and shares openly about his experience with it. Chuck participated in the roundtable discussions that led to the development of <a href=\"https:\/\/parkinson.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Parkinson-Canada-National-Roundtable-Report.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/parkinson.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Parkinson-Canada-National-Roundtable-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parkinson Canada\u2019s&nbsp;National Advocacy Roundtable Repor<\/a>t&nbsp;which lays the foundation for the organization\u2019s advocacy efforts for years to come.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-responsive-xsmall\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-responsive-xsmall\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Chuck apporte 40 ans de leadership dans l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration de mod\u00e8les de collaboration r\u00e9ussis entre l&rsquo;industrie, le gouvernement, les organismes philanthropiques, universitaires et communautaires, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire l&rsquo;ensemble des organisations impliqu\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la vie des Canadiens atteints de la maladie de Parkinson. Son talent pour favoriser la collaboration est un atout inestimable pour le CCP, car il ajoute un niveau d&rsquo;expertise suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 une liste de personnes d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien fournie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au fil des ans, Chuck a offert b\u00e9n\u00e9volement sa formation en mati\u00e8re de communication et de pr\u00e9paration aux m\u00e9dias \u00e0 un large \u00e9ventail d&rsquo;organisations. Il est en mesure de le faire gr\u00e2ce au temps qu&rsquo;il a pass\u00e9 \u00e0 la radio, en tant que conf\u00e9rencier dans une \u00e9cole de commerce, en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident des affaires g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de la Loterie de l&rsquo;Atlantique et en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident des partenariats au Discovery Centre en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse. Il a l&rsquo;habitude de contribuer aux plans d&rsquo;engagement communautaire et s&rsquo;efforce d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer les protocoles et les pratiques organisationnelles afin de tirer le meilleur parti du temps et des dons des sympathisants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9 avec la maladie de Parkinson en 2014 et partage ouvertement son exp\u00e9rience avec cette maladie.
