When he is not working Brendan and his spouse enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, and camping, accompanied by their dogs. They enjoy a rural lifestyle in the foothills of the Rockies, as well as learning about other cultures, having travelled to all corners of the globe. As a pickleball enthusiast, Brendan has competed in the Alberta Master’s Games, so be warned: he is always trying to recruit fresh players, especially those from the Parkinson’s community!

Brendan is a professional engineer by trade and as an eternal optimist by nature, he uses his sense of humour to face life’s challenges.
