She is now retired from her role as a professor of epidemiology and cares for her partner who was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s in 2018. As the principal investigator on several large research projects, she gained experience managing complex operations and staff. She has had extensive experience in scientific writing and has a particular interest in communicating research findings to non-scientific audiences.
