Angela Roberts is an assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders in the School of Communication at Northwestern University. Her interests are language and acquired cognitive-communication disorders in adults with neurodegenerative disorders. Her research includes the neurological and behavioral characterization of language and communication profiles in these populations, in addition to the design and evaluation of therapy interventions and caregiver education programs. Her research program uses a variety of methodologies to answer research questions informed by a clinical career as a speech-language pathologist, spanning over 20 years in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Angela was previously awarded the Queen’s Jubilee Medal of Honour for contributions to improving the quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s and their care partners. She currently serves on the executive committee for the Ontario Neurodegenerative Disease Research Initiative (ONDRI). She received her PhD<\/abbr> in health and rehabilitation sciences from Western University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cognitive neurology at the Lawson Health Research Institutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Angela Roberts est professeur adjoint en sciences et troubles de la communication \u00e0 la School of Communication de la Northwestern University. Elle si\u00e8ge actuellement au comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif de l’Ontario Neurodegenerative Disease Research Initiative (ONDRI).
