This form of workout is based on training used by boxing pros and adapted to people with Parkinson&rsquo;s. The program involves regular exercise, working with weights, stretching, jogging, balancing, vocal strengthening and lots of non-contact boxing. The boxing and conditioning drills will help reduce the symptoms of Parkinson&rsquo;s, which in turn will help to improve quality of life. It is all about working hard and having fun and making friends along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A consultation and assessment with a Rock Steady Boxing Certified Instructor is necessary before registering for the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Area of Expertise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been teaching and working with those dealing with Parkinson&rsquo;s since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I received my Rock Steady Boxing Certification at there head office in Indianapolis, IN, USA in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At one time I was on the Vaughan SuperWalk Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am also a certified Yoga Instructor and certified Chi Gong Instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Register<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Phone or Email<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description Rock Steady Boxing York Region is a unique program, based on the Rock Steady Method.
