All are designed to provide a safe, comfortable place for people to connect and share with each other on how to live well with Parkinson\u2019s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Area of Expertise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1969, Parkinson Society British Columbia is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Parkinson\u2019s community by providing resources and services to enable self-management, self-reliance, and self-advocacy. They support individuals with Parkinson\u2019s and their loved ones through one-on-one consultations, free short-term counselling, healthcare navigation, virtual physiotherapy, support groups, educational seminars and workshops, and the PD Link peer support program.
