We welcome family members, care partners and anyone who has an interest in learning about Parkinson Disease in a friendly and supportive environment. Meetings are informal and often include a presentation by an invited speaker, such as a healthcare professional or complementary therapist. First Tuesday of the Month Sept – June

Darwin Mott will moderate a panel discussion on living with Parkinson’s. “What is working for you”.  Each member of the panel will give a 4 to 6-minute talk followed by 4 to 6 minutes of Q & A. Other members of the panel are Charles Keple, Garth Pickard and Rosemary Oddie.

Tuesday, April 3, 2018  Speaker:  Lacey Barker CCC-SLP Speech Language Pathologist    Topic:   Speech Problems and Parkinson’s
Speech-language pathologists can help people with Parkinson’s disease maintain as many communication skills as possible. Dr. Barker has received certification for LSVT LOUD which is an evidence- based voice treatment technique for people with Parkinson disease and other neurological disorders.

The Regina Parkinson’s Group Exercise program is designed to help cope with Parkinson symptoms and promoting wellness in general. The class is geared towards individuals who have decreased range of motion, muscular strength, endurance, and balance issues. Jessica Lewgood, 306-533-8454,

Regina Creative Dance for Parkinson Disease

In Creative Dance for PD classes, participants explore movement and music in ways that are enjoyable, stimulating, and creative. For persons with Parkinson’s Disease, their partners, caregivers, and friends.

Regina Big Movements to Improve PD Symptoms
