On March 26 and 27, 2020, we are hosting a virtual meeting with leading Canadian researchers, clinicians and patients to discuss the state of Parkinson’s research in Canada, and the Parkinson Canada Research Program’s role in the international research landscape. We’ll be joined by key international research programs to discuss emerging trends in research, and what subjects are the biggest priorities for Canadians with Parkinson’s.
Investing in research is a critical part of our mission. The purpose of this meeting is to engage a diverse group of stakeholders to provide insight into:
- Current and emerging trends in research and clinical care in Parkinson’s.
- Strategies to leverage our research investments and increase our impact, possibly through partnerships with other Parkinson’s organizations.
This meeting will help form the basis for our research investment strategy in the future, with the voice of the Parkinson community included in the decision making from day one.
Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new initiative.
