“You talk about Parkinson’s with your family but you don’t want to do that all the time, so when you get together once a month with the group, it’s a good opportunity to do that.” Alice Templin, Ontario
Support groups – whether in person, online or by telephone – provide a friendly supportive setting for people to share experiences, feelings and thoughts and to exchange information. If you are a member of a support group and know other people with Parkinson’s, invite them to join.
Parkinson Society Canada has 240 chapters and support groups across Canada. We’re in your community. To find a regional office near you, call 1-800-565-3000 or visit www.parkinson.ca.
