Join the WPC and Parkinson Canada on Thursday, July 30 at 4PM ET/ 1PM PT to hear about the new and innovative network which is being launched in partnership with Brain Canada across Canada in 2020 to expedite Parkinson’s research. This session will be moderated by Parkinson Canada’s CEO, Karen Lee, PhD.
The Canadian Open Parkinson Network (C-OPN) initiative will create an innovative national platform to bridge people, data, and resources to accelerate Parkinson’s disease discoveries.
C-OPN will be the first ever Canadian based national database and biobank collecting information on people with Parkinson’s (PwPs) and Parkinson plus syndromes across Canada.
This is being pursued in order to more quickly connect potential study participants, researchers, and other experts to ultimately speed up the research process and to get us closer to a cure.
Learn all about the C-OPN on this live panel discussion featuring immediate past WPC President, WPC Board member and C-OPN PI, Dr. A. Jon Stoessl along with C-OPN co-Directors, Dr. Oury Monchi and Dr. Edward (Ted) Fon.
