Finding our footing, again: the changing roles of care partners

Being a care partner means surfing the waves of change. Sometimes we are able to balance for a while, and sometimes the waves toss us off our boards and we find ourselves under water and upside down.

We invite you to join our care partners webinar supported by Rexall Care Network on Wednesday, May 21 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET as mental health educator and care partner, Rebecca Higgins, explores the changing roles of care partners and the emotional and practical implications of these changes. We will make space for the range of feelings that come with being a care partner and grappling with the changes we experience as such. Practical take-away tools for navigating change will also be provided.

Parkinson Canada is proud to recognize Rexall Care Network (RCN) as a supporter of our webinar this month. RCN’s mission – to support care partners so they can care for the ones they love – aligns with our commitment to ensuring that people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners have the tools, support, and hope they need to thrive.

We also invite you to take part in RCN’s Bubble Campaign, running from May 4 to June 7 at participating Rexall stores across Ontario and Western Canada. By making a small donation at the checkout, you’ll be helping Parkinson Canada provide vital support, resources, and hope to over 110,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Canada – and to the care partners who stand beside them every day.
