Parkinson Canada is partnering with the Canadian Movement Disorder Society to host the 2nd Annual Canadian Movement Disorders Meeting on November 24-25th, 2023 in Toronto. Building on the success of the first meeting held in London, Ontario in 2022, this meeting will expand to include over 150 attendees including movement disorder specialists, neurologists, basic scientists, and other members of the Parkinson’s research and clinical professionals. In recent years, this community has strongly voiced the need to establish a forum that brings together experts from across the country to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge and ideas with the goal of improving the diagnosis and management of Parkinson’s and cultivating discoveries that will impact the lives of patients.
This is the first gathering of its kind in Canada and a rare opportunity to meet and interact with some of the world’s most renowned clinical and research experts in Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. The meeting will cover topics ranging from mechanisms of Parkinson’s pathophysiology to clinical trial insights to identifying barriers and solutions to optimizing access to care. Networking and collaborating with experts in the field: Individuals from diverse backgrounds and geographic locations will have an opportunity to connect and collaborate.
