The release of the Canadian edition of Every Victory Counts® in July 2022 has reached thousands of Canadians impacted by Parkinson’s already. With this Canadianized resource in hand, people are taking charge of their wellness and finding creative ways to improve their quality of life while living with Parkinson’s.
If you missed the release of this foundational manual for Canadians living with Parkinson’s, here’s what you need to know:
The Canadian edition of the manual is accompanied by the ever-useful worksheets like the medication log, wellness self-assessment, goal summary, and many others. These worksheets are available digitally and are easily printed for those who prefer to work with hard copies.
“It’s incredibly helpful to work through the book and the worksheets together in the group,” says Davis Phinney Ambassador and support group facilitator Doug Pickard. “Often times it’s a struggle to get speakers to come to support groups and when they do join, the support group environment changes and we lose that interplay where everyone is talking and sharing. So, now that we have the Canadian edition, we work through the manual one chapter and worksheet at a time.”
