Movers and Shakers Volunteers Win Prestigious Mayor’s Service Award: On Wednesday, April 17, 2012 the Parkinson Society Manitoba Movers and Shakers volunteers were honoured by Mayor Sam Katz for their years of dedicated service to the Winnipeg Parkinson community. They received the Mayor’s 2012 Volunteer Service Award for Health. The group was presented their award in front of over 500 other Manitobans in a celebration of volunteerism at a gala dinner at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.



Parkinson SuperWalk is Parkinson Society Manitoba’s largest fundraiser and is held each September in Brandon, Gimli, Morden, and Winnipeg. parkinsonsuperwalk.ca/ is now open for registration. You can also print a pledge form. More »
