Parkinson Ambassadors needed in your riding!

Parkinson Society Canada (PSC) is currently recruiting representatives from federal ridings across Canada to join our National Advocacy Network as Parkinson’s Ambassadors. We are looking for motivated individuals to help move Parkinson’s issues forward in the 2015 election and beyond. Whether you are a person living with Parkinson’s, a caregiver to someone living with the disease, or simply want to help with the cause, you can be a champion in your community by being the voice for Canadians with Parkinson’s!

As a representative of the Parkinson’s community, you will meet with your local MP to discuss issues impacting the Parkinson’s community, in advance of the 2015 federal election. You will be a vital part of our Ambassador Network, made up of dedicated volunteers doing the same thing in ridings across the country.

Parkinson Society Canada provides training and support to Ambassadors, to ensure that they are fully prepared for the election campaign. Parkinson’s Ambassadors will also have opportunities to participate in other national and/or provincial advocacy initiatives beyond the 2015 federal election.
