Presenter: Dr. Anthony Lang
Dr. Anthony Lang, awarded Parkinson Society Canada’s Donald Calne Lectureship Award in 2008, is the Director of the Edmond J Safra Program in Parkinson’s Disease at the
University Health Network and the University of Toronto, and Director of the Movement Disorders Centre at the Krembil Neuroscience Centre. In 2011, he was recognized as the most highly cited Parkinson’s researcher in the world for the past decade, publishing more than 500 peer-reviewed papers.
Presenter: Dr. David Grimes
Dr. David Grimes, recognized as a national expert in movement disorders, is the Director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Clinic at the Ottawa Hospital, and was
the project leader and editor of the Canadian Guidelines on Parkinson’s Disease published in 2012. Dr. Grimes received his Doctorate in Medicine (Cum Laude) and completed his
residency in neurology at the University of Ottawa.
