Untitled Poem
| by Jim McCarthy With Parkinson’s disease, it makes your body slow It’s hard to stop and even harder to go It takes away your healthy glow Exercise is good to do, and using handrails will help you, too Our health system is great, if we have time to wait Do you drool, well here’s a tip, chew some gum, no need to flip Drink a bottle of beer, or a little red wine, check with your doctor, and you’ll be fine We must do our best with what we’ve got This disease we will surely beat, believe it or not Let’s meet our quota this September, and make it the year to remember. ►Back to Story Corner |
