PSC/CIHR Doctoral Training Award


2011-2012 Cycle

This award is a partnership effort between Parkinson Society Canada and The Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR), Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction.

The goal of this Priority Announcement is to announce funding of up to one Doctoral Research Award in the area of psychosocial research in Parkinson's disease. Researchers must be working in Canada to be eligible for this award.

Doctoral Training Award
• The total amount available for this funding opportunity is $ 105,000.
• Up to three years duration, $30,000 per annum
• Research allowance: $5,000 per annum
• This award is non-renewable

Applications receiving a rating of less than 3.5 will not be considered for funding
