| MISSION Parkinson Society Canada is the national voice of Canadians living with Parkinson’s. Our purpose as the Parkinson Society Federation is to ease the burden and find a cure through advocacy, education, research and support services. VISION A better life with a brighter future for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today. A world without Parkinson’s tomorrow. CRITCAL SUCCESS FACTORS Relevant Awareness – awareness achieved through an understanding of Parkinson’s disease and the experience of Canadians living with Parkinson’s such that an individual may be motivated to act for their benefit. Recognized Credibility – recognition that PSC is the national voice of Canadians living with Parkinson’s, and as such is respected by health care professionals, service providers, health charities, the wider charitable sector, Canadians living with Parkinson’s and the general public. Sustainable Funding – the ability to generate adequate funding to maintain and expand services and research to meet the needs of the growing population of Canadians living with Parkinson’s. Effective Measurement –accountable, consistent and available data to guide decision-making and the best use of funds across the organization. |
