During the initial period of their independent careers, new investigators are in a good position to formulate innovative and fertile research projects. This program is a strategic initiative to provide investigators who have recently completed research training with an early opportunity to develop and demonstrate ability to initiate and conduct independent health research. This program, therefore, is part of an active investment in the future of Canadian Parkinson’s research, supporting promising individual researchers in their professional development.
