A note from Janice:

I have really enjoyed getting to know all of you and look forward to hopefully welcoming new members this year.  Here is the information you need for the January & February sessions.

The date for the Thursday session is January 11th at 9:30 to 11, and the date for the Saturday session is January 13th at 9:30 to 11.  We are doing a collage in January with the theme of « My Hopes for 2018. » I’m not a believer in making resolutions as they ultimately seem to fail, but I do believe in contemplating things that I would like to happen. So I thought this would be appropriate. Of course you are welcome to do something completely different with your collage if you like.  I will be bring lots of things for you to use for your collage but if you see something in a magazine or at a store that you would like to include, feel free to bring it along.

I would also like to give you a heads up about our February sessions which I’m really excited about. The date for the Saturday session is February 10th at 9:30 to 11, and the date for the Thursday session is February 15th at 9:30 to 11.  Heather Ward is  going to be leading the sessions. She will be showing us how to do paint pouring.  It is a fairly easy (although messy) method of painting that yields stunning results! Don’t worry about it being messy, I have aprons!

We’d welcome any new members to join the group so if you know anybody, let them know.

Please note, the Parkinson Canada office is scent free. One of the staff has serious allergies so please refrain from using perfume or scented products while at the art group sessions.
